Important safety information

As with any prescription medication, a veterinarian should review the medical history of the horse and perform a medical exam prior to use.

When using Hyvisc or Hyalovet, as with all intra-articular injections, care should be taken to ensure aseptic technique. There are no known contraindications to the use of Hyvisc or Hyalovet.

Surpass is not for use in horses intended for human consumption. As a class, NSAIDs may be associated with gastrointestinal and renal toxicity.

Vetalog Parenteral should not be used to alleviate pain or reduce inflammation arising from infectious states unless concomitant antimicrobial therapy is given. Because of the anti-inflammatory action of corticosteroids, signs of infection may be hidden and it may be necessary to stop treatment until diagnosis is made. Do not use with viral infections.
